Play piano online — 5 octaves with real piano sound, right in your browser. Click, tap or glide across the keys.
Fun to play. Even better to learn.
A virtual piano is a great start — but reading real notes is what turns curiosity into a skill. Notimo teaches you to read music with playful 5-minute lessons, instant green-or-red feedback and 245 levels from your very first note to real classical pieces.
What is a virtual piano?
A virtual piano is a playable piano keyboard that runs in your web browser. Notimo’s virtual piano covers five octaves (C2–B6) with realistic sampled piano sound — every key you click or tap plays a real recorded piano note, not a synthetic beep. It works on desktop, tablet and phone, with multi-touch support so you can play chords with several fingers.
Tips for playing the online piano
Drag your finger or mouse across the keys for a glissando. The middle C is labelled C4 — it’s the anchor note most beginner pieces start from. If you have a USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard, open the Notimo app: it detects your real keys in the browser and uses them for interactive lessons with instant feedback.
